Product Description

SmartRail is the world's leading track system used with full-size camera configurations in floor or ceiling installations, specifically intended for live studio broadcasts 24x7. The range of elevation capabilities of the columns make it possible to raise cameras to new heights while retaining stability and smoothness of on-air control. Elevation control works upright (floor-tracks) or inverted (ceiling-tracks) to allow maximum creativity in production design - no longer are cameras limited to floor-based operation and studios can now be entirely cleared of equipment and cables.

Elevation columns come in a variety of sizes and may be customised to achieve the required elevation range and min/max camera height. The unique Hybrid configuration with Shotoku’s X-Height column provides a cost-effective elevation column with exceptional stability.

Combined with Shotoku's intuitive TR-XT control system and the TG-18 or TG-27 pan and tilt head, SmartRail provides totally integrated, highly accurate, motion control in all axes.

As the camera's exact path across the studio is permanently and precisely defined by the rail, production designers can bring the cameras right into or over the set itself - achieving creative camera angles not possible with manual or traditional robotic cameras.

SmartRail is compatible with the TG-18 pan and tilt head enabling almost any standard camera, lens, teleprompter and talent monitor payloads up to 56kg (123lbs) to be used without restriction.
