Thank you to all who took the time to visit our booth in 2018. Stay tuned for future shows and see you at NAB 2019.
SHOTOKU is proud to announce Shotoku USA’s participation in NAB 2018.
Robotics will be the major focus at NAB 2018 as Shotoku Broadcast Systems celebrates the first anniversary of Shotoku USA, the Company’s North American operation founded in 2017 to support our significant and growing customer-base in North America.
Highlights: Enhanced ECI Automation Interface
Highlights include a significantly enhanced version of our External Control Automation Interface (ECI) incorporating powerful new features that add a layer of intuitiveness and functionality for the flagship TR-XT Touch Control System. Building on the TR-XT’s advanced features, including pre-set shot recall functionality, the unit now supports full joystick trim control to adjust and restore the pre-sets as necessary, from the automation system or switcher itself.
Highlights: Shotoku “Smart” Solutions
SmartPed Robotic Pedestal
Shotoku USA will also showcase the SmartPed Robotic Pedestal, a fully robotic XY pedestal embraced by some of the world’s most prominent broadcasting organizations. SmartPed addresses the creative and commercial demands of on-air environments with a cost-efficient and high-performance solution.
SmartPedVR will be demonstrated for the first time, anywhere! The VR-enabled version of our widely popular Robotic Pedestal is now available with our well-proven and highly accurate built-in VR tracking system which allows SmartPed to be used in all VR or AR environments.
SmartTrack, a highly adaptable rail camera system, supports floor or ceiling operation and a range of height column configurations, in both upright and inverted modes. SmartTrack combines the precision and flexibility of Shotoku control systems with a rail-based dolly and elevator column system to provide a unique perspective on any live, multi-camera studio production.
A range of pedestals, height drives, pan/tilt heads and control systems for live studio productions in traditional or VR/AR applications will be on display as well.
